Selection Board results E-7 FY02 - FY09

Post by krnl »

I've been doing some digging and have managed to find Selection Board results for FY02 through FY09. I will make them available soon. I'm trying to decide how I want to do it... I'm thinking about putting the results (currently in text/NAVADMIN format) into a searchable database...that sounds like a lot of work though.

More to follow...

Is this something just for you? or is this something we can all search through?

For the meantime, just post them on the site as text and anyone can use the EDIT, FIND option in their browser.

If you are you trying to get the results from prior to FY02? I might be able to assist.

Alex.
If you visit Guam or are already here, send me a message. I'm always up for BBC (BBQ, Beer, Cigars).

It will be for everyone...databasing the results is tough...trying to sort through the Naval message format and pull out names and rates - not an easy task. I have tried to automate it by running the lost through multiple unix command-line text sorting utilities...will keep working on it.

If you have results available for prior to 2002, I'll happily take them and add them to the catalog.

I agree that I need to get what I have posted so that it will be available for all.
