WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, Joe R. Campa Jr. released the following holiday message to the fleet Nov. 25:

I'd like to thank all of you and your families for what you do in support of our Navy and this nation. The United States Sailor is a world-wide presence and every one of you have helped in establishing our Navy's reputation as a friend to those in need.

During this holiday season I ask that you take a moment to consider what it is we stand for and the responsibilities each of us have to one another, our families and our country. We live and serve in uncertain times, but your fellow Americans take great comfort in knowing that the men and women who wear this uniform are always at the ready. [Read More...]
