So, I'm not normally much into politics. I voted in the last presidential election, but only out of obligation to my country. This year, I feel much more than obligated. I feel driven.

I don't want to try to turn this website into a political mess - as talking about politics and religion will generally mess up any discussion between a group of people. I do, however, feel the need to put a McCain - Palin sign in my front yard and I am proudly displaying one here at the header of the forum as well..for a few weeks, anyway.

I am very proud of what I know about John McCain and the adversity that he has endured to get where he is today. I think he has the United States Of America in his heart and I think that he will do a great job leading our country into energy independence (certainly not during his term, but he and Sarah Palin can get the ball rolling!) - among other things that he has to offer the people of our great country - The greatest country that the world has ever known!

I can't see youtube videos from work, so I'll have to look at it when I get home this evening...if they've gone away, I'll find them somewhere else and make sure that they stay posted here!

Just checked and the videos are still here.. they must have youtube blocked at your place of work also! Stupid firewalls! I hate them! Let me look at youtube at work for cryin' out loud! It's a conspiracy by the Democrats to keep people from seeing these videos! hehe

There were a couple of people who brought up the fact that I had a McCain-Palin image at the top of the site. Both voiced a certain amount of displeasure that there was not a similar ad for Obama-Biden and that politics are "personal" and should not be discussed in the forum...

Well, I agree that the image at the top of the page was a bit much, so I removed it. However, I think that healthy political debate/discussion in this forum should be allowed. As long as people are respectful to one another and don't go attacking each other personally... I'll moderate as necessary. If you ever have an issue with anything that's said here in the forum, please let me know.
