Email this to anyone you know, don't know, could know, should know. I was embarrassed when I saw an older lady yesterday driving in Hampton Roads with a Butterfly License Plate. I stopped and talked to her, she gave me the same story, she had to get so many people that wanted the plate, she opened a website and within a month, the plates were ready to roll... We are the past, present and future of the Navy here.. Certainly we can get enough brothers and sisters involved to do this. Call friends, write them, whatever it takes..

I think it's dead for this year. Can't find the bill on the legislation docket for consideration.

Hmmm... I just emailed Delegate Barlow in Va Beach (The original bill sponsor with Armand Rubbo) and Senator Richard Stuart, my representative to verify that the license plate is going to be up for vote at the 2010 General Assembly. This will give me a full year to collect the rest of the applications that we need.

Will let you know when I get a response.
